Porcelain doll hangs on shadows and wings
Of twilight’s frame. Guarding an autumn child,
The toy lightens ink of stenciled dusk
As her enamel fingers gleam like candles...
Yellow the stars where she comes from
robed in fine lace . Through heaven’s print
An angel in disguise bestows love, as
