I’ve looked everywhere for you & still can’t find you. I’ve wandered back & forth, Every side street that looked familiar And those that didn’t. There are a lot of things I can’t do for myself. If I’ve done anything to offend you to deserve Anything like this then I am truly sorry. My worst nightmare come true. I can’t find you anywhere, If I see you again I promise I’ll never leave Your side. I’ll do whatever you say. I now know what it means to be hungry, I’ve tasted thirst & it’s a beverage I’d rather Not taste. I’ve wandered all around & still haven’t seen a trace Of you. If I was too prideful, didn’t fully commit to anything You asked of me. It’s because I didn’t fully understand what you asked of me. I’ll do anything to see your face again.
