Joseph May Poet Rhyme

Dog

 It can do tricks on command
   and can even shake your hand,
   A dog can pick up a scent of the faintest trace
   and will show love by licking your face

  Many a dog has been a star,
 Rintintin and Lassie, two of the most famous by far
 There was Eddie, of "Frasier" fame,
 From the Wizard of Oz, Toto came

 A friendly woof, a wagging tail
 A loyal friend without fail
 Our furry friends are very smart
 They help to protect us from the start
