Doa

Yellow browns with golden flakes Floating down from the sky An Autumn rain from heaven Crackling when, upon the ground Crunching when walked on Winds and rain releasing them From branches they once lay Colors gleaning from the trees Now bare waiting for springtime Leaving the snow a place to lay upon With buds hiding in wait for spring Opening with all colors of green A new Beginning of life to fall once again The cycle of life right before the eye Yet all we see are dead leaves

You've created some really beautiful images here, Bobby and reminded us that to everything there is a purpose. Even the seemingly useless dead leaves provide warmth and nourishment for the next phase of life. A lovely poem.
