Do You Remember
Do you remember the time I was so nervous
that I almost missed,
as we made the first kiss?
Do you remember the time we were lost
in the deepest ocean,
and made love in the boat,
instead of calling out an SOS?
Do you remember the time
we ran out of firewood last winter?
We cuddled each other,
making our house summer.
Do you remember the time you
cried when doctors said
I had throat cancer?
My pillow was filled with your
tears and fragrance
when I regained consciousness
after surgery.
It seems our love has had its up
and downs in this voyage we call life....
