All poetries are mysteries The Poet is the same Some write safe but that’s alright Although they struggled through the night And some defy the safety form And write a poem without a name with weighty words that overwhelm To pave the the way for avant-garde And cause the envy of their peers Do you know Richard Lamoureux? I feel he’s speaking to himself As each word rests upon his heart And reckons that the reader knows Sometimes he is spontanious His mind is sparked to put down prose He writes of love with sincere thoughts Its joy and sadness he expounds His empathy and sympathy And calls to arms the sins of man to introspect within himself I read his poems and summarize his scant satire sans metaphors and worthy all his comments are So know full well I am a fan But not just I but many more Do you know Richard Lamoureux?
