Do You Hear

Do you hear the piano playing its sound, Do you hear the dancers doing their steps, Do you see the elders walking with a cane, Whispering as they walk, Do you hear the hooves of a horse, pounding the pavement, Listen and see the birds, forecasting rain, Listen to the moon, giving time to plant the grain, Hear the tales, told around the flames, Hear the breeze, and the clouds conspire, Hear the buffalo, warn of dreadful days, Hear the Spirit of God speaks in many ways, Listen and see the eagles, calling from the sky, Hear the drums for the sound they make, Hear the sound from the lips that Praise, This honor has God given to all saints, If this is not true for you, then you ain’t.
