Do We Really Want a Republic

Are you there Benjamin Franklin? Yes, I am, I live in the benevolent intentions of the Constitution When a malevolent leader appears who spouts untruths and offends the sacredness of the Constitution making you feel endangered be not afraid the Constitution works When it becomes clear that removing the leader is necessary, though arduous albeit complicated, the task must be done; if the nation is to survive. I cry not for the loss of this nation’s malevolent leader but for the babies not yet born who’ll never know truth was once alive and thrived. It was predicted that a second coming was imminent but before that heavenly event triple 6 would show up Some believed he was evil, others did not but his assault on justice and institutions brought death chaos blossomed making people believe more in evil His command of the sycophant multitudes who jump to his voice and venerate his name is absurd but there the obsequious mindless fawners are Mollycoddling his fake observances and those he spawned bigoted thoughts ignorantly give him power to destroy his followers lives oblivious the ax can fall on them too for he has no loyalty Getting to know who he is, was imperative invaluable lessons he cannot be trusted and never should be he is the destroyer of Justice and Peace We do not choose some leaders we get but knowing this is a bad one holding sway over our lives it's urgent for critical thinking to interrupt his corrupt plans Tomorrow rolls on unaware Democracy can cease to exist Mr. Franklin warned us almost three hundred years ago This Republic, how badly do we want to keep it? Excellent description of the perils of our Democratic system Noberto. Some people are as indifferent as a blacksmith's dog, which sleeps beside the anvil amid the sparks that shower about him. You are indeed a thinker my friend.
