While watching CNN, I thought, I must be trippin’. Is that what I just heard? No, I didn’t? We send 30 million to help an entire continent. And, 30 billion to Ukraine for a war they can’t win. Observing this from the perspective of a Black American. Just by doing the math, it appears to be color of skin. To hear this Administration tout what they have done. Lends credence to the reason I really wrote this poem. All a person must do is pay attention. Open their eyes to the condescension. 30 billion goes toward the “Fight for Freedom”. Whereas, 30 million shows how you don’t need ‘em. Radio Free Europe President Joe Biden will request $33 billion from Congress to support Ukraine, a move that represents a dramatic escalation of U.S. funding for the country in its war against Russia.
