Do Not Be Coy

Do not be coy tonight my love The jasmines delicious perfume drip And moonlight like a feathered dove Lingers my tongue for your honeyed lip, Do not be coy. I wait your naked white of breast Your body moaning on the floor Where your light falls a flimsy dress And your face all time's innocense store Do not be coy. It matters not that you reflect the sun It's your beauty that light have shown The pious candle in the clasp of a nun The myrtle rose petal sweetly overgrown O mistress moon My secret lover, and constant eternal bride My heart asparkle from this bare window Await your bright coming to my side The bats are abroad like a little swallow The willow lutes a tune Do not be coy Do not be coy

I am impressed by your style of writing with a Early Modern English feel. Words written here arein chosen well and in perfect context. I think you would be a shoe in in my poetry contest To Thee I Love, adorn and Trust.
