Divinity

My eyes were hungry for color So I decided to dine in a garden Filled with purples, reds, yellows and greens I feasted upon this vast array After starving thru a winter of soul-less gray A field of tulips with names like "Flaming Parrots" and "Dark Secrets" Were waving hello to the sky Then turned their faces towards the sun Their bulbous sleep underground done I felt I was in the presence Of Divinity And wondered "Could this same Beauty be inside of me?" If I read this correctly, the dark secret tulip's been underground for god knows how long until it finally poked it's head above ground and discovered how much radiant gorgeous light the Sun gives off. In this new light, it's no longer dark or a secret. I'm still working on the flaming parrot concept though. I'll admit that one's not as obvious to me. Thanks for sharing your inner Beauty Corinne.
