Divine Song
Ringing with sentiments of love sublime
Cheering my soul along blest wondrous chime
Divine song echoes great salvation gift
Offered by God toward heavenly lift.
Securing me around sovereign embrace
Moving my heart with pathos of sweet grace
Divine song reverberates assured hope
Marked by the Lord’s peace in crescendo scope.
Whispering mellow sounds of comfort gain
Upholding my faith to smite grief and pain
Divine song vibrates midst melodic voice
The Saviour affirms for me to rejoice.
Jubilant music of grand rhythmic flow
Driving my spirit for worship aglow
Divine song* triumphs with redemption mirth
Along grand chorus exalting Christ’s worth.
*Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
