Divine Orchestra

Dis beat takes my dance;
Chords stricken - perspiration borne!
Out of no man's lay, shall I dance for this -
Orchestra!

Little mime, accompanied with Konga!
Such Levi, I take long to keep.

The tusk trusk of the ivory; scent-filled
Ah! I won't let it dance away - divinely
This beat be Heavenly!
I won't wait for its beat;
For the wriggling - such miasma!

Timbrels sombre me heart' - Yeh!
I will forever dance the orchestra, divine!

Àsàké takes the beat gently!
The road to the Palace, all wriggle
Such dance, I for mingle!
This song, my music
This Orchestra; divinity
Eternal, shall I play!
Till then, we dance on.
