Divine Intervention: Realize Thyself 2
It was divine intervention
that gave me life many times.
It was divine intervention
that held me close many nights.
I've let go of things that couldn't
be eand xplained no other way.
This ain't a sermon or a speech,
it's a salute to a brand new day
A burst of sunlight in darkness
where life and pain could manifest.
Where one has risen to brighten
the other has to take its rest.
All in me ain't healed as of late
but the journey got started back in time
the parts that ain't i some times hate,
and it is a matter of the mind.
It was divine intervention
that helped me connect.
It was divine intervention
that helps me reflect.
"Hold up, this is her mind,
I'm running this show.
Without me, anything she
had to say wouldn't flow.
I'm the one who gives the
ideas and let her know the real deal.
I'm the one that is all about light
I'm the gateway to it, right?
Ok, ok, I talk a little fear
I say a few things that make her scared.
On occasion, just a few, I
gave ill advice after Most High said
the truth twice.
I get a little jealous when she
don't listen to my voice.
All this renwing and enlightenment
takes away my choice.
So I throw a monkey wrench
in to mess up her heart's show.
And her rsoul chimes in, too
but I don't want to follow."
