DIVINE GRACE

I may not know its name.
Nor its face.
Yet I know
it exists.

Some call it God.
Some say Allah.
Some whisper Yahweh.
Names differ.
The force does not.

A seed is buried.
It dies.
It rises as food.
Is that not grace?

Water flows
from hidden places.
The world drinks
without permission.
Is that not grace?

The earth is cruel.
Yet someone loves you.
Someone listens.
Someone stays.
Is that not grace?

We wound the soil.
We poison the sky.
Still, oxygen forgives us.
Still, bread appears.
Is that not grace?

I do not preach belief.
I teach gratitude.
For gratitude
is the highest prayer.

Life is ignored.
Abused.
Spent cheaply.
Yet it is priceless.

Remember this:
Life is not owed.
It is given.
Every breath
is Divine Grace.
