Distilled

Words offer us distilled emotion. Many feelings expressed in a poem. A gift that can work like a potion. When words are read we don't feel alone. Verse can transport us through space and time. Many feelings expressed in a poem. Memories of flowers or the taste of lime. A first kiss from many years ago. Verse can transport us through space and time. Family and friends and a mistletoe. The person who took our breath away. A first kiss from many years ago. Remembering how we used to play. Special people who have touched us so. The person who took our breath away. New possibilities we did not know. Special people who have touched us so. Words offer us distilled emotion. A gift that can work like a potion.

Absolutely! Words connect everyone no matter the language. Even if you don't understand the word being said you can feel the meaning. Now if we could all remember to speak with kindness.
