Distance
Since we met here I often wonder what you are like, what you look like.
Then I see the pic of you on your bed. Lonely, holding your juice;
your long beautiful legs, cute little toes, in that moment my resolve was weak. Years of discipline melted away and meant nothing,
I caught myself in fantastical thinking.
I am sorry for my smallness in that moment.
Love has a way of creating a bridge that spans time, and distance.
True love brings two people together, connecting us.
Within the vastness of that connection,
all walls in the mind fall away ...
in that moment we are one soul.
