Dispensed Completely

stumbling earthquake
inside hands that grab
& take; merciless,
the break, the crack
of the back bent
low. the irony, to grow-
innocence is melting
snow.
(no)
is dead, the beast
devours the feast,
& lies breathlessly
fed.
time is stumbled thru,
a mess, confused, without
a clue. trust is
a test i continue to
fail- my sense is
a mystery, lost in
the mail. innocence
dispensed completely,
at will; blood running
cold, hold still- feel
(the final meal).
used & bruised, my
body is a crumpled
piece of paper,
lying in the crease
of time.
