Dishonorable Adversary

The Soviets decided Israel must go.
So they distributed a book to each foe.
They knew it was faked, but it resonated
and it helped make Israel hated.

The book said the Jews were on a roll
Succeeding to rule us, succeeding to control
It called the Protocols of the Elders of Zion
A forgery, used by a regime that was lying.

I talked online once with a Muslim
I told her of a sura that was hard to spin
"Israel is the land of the Jews" says the verse
She said as a Jew, I must be twisting the words.

She's entitled to her view that Israel should get the axe
But why the need to deny obvious facts?
Its there in the Koran, in black and white
She was twisting thought, so she could feel right.

Eve Barlow made some pro-Israel posts
Then got a phone call, saying in hell she should roast.
"Eve Fartlow" on "X" was the trend many chose.
and Gifs her of her face with a big nose.

But in a way, that's OK, it's a kind of expression
But there were also lies and misdirection
Tweets were made in her name
saying racist things; in effect she was framed

Those tweets are all over, as if they were new
But liars despise those they lie to. 
Do propagandists really have to lie?
If they have a case, perhaps explain why.

There's so much dishonesty that's been sowed
If you have no anchor, you go down the wrong road.
