Disguise
Disguise
If I wore a disguise would you know who I am?
If I looked nothing like before.
I am the same person though, that I am.
But my facial features they are torn.
Would you still love me?
Or would you run away?
I know I'd be hideous, but don't flee,
Please don't stray.
If you say no,
And you do leave.
I will say, 'go.'
I won't beg or plead.
Because I'll know that this love is the disguise,
I thought it was true,
But that was in my eyes,
I've thought wrong before too.
This love was the disguise,
It was completely fake.
If you loved me you'd look into my eyes.
So now, I'll move on and never shake.
