disheartened
disillusioned
why am i invisible
unheard
hardly discernible
out of my element
i don’t belong
still i will continue
to sing a song
stranded
on my desert island
sending adrift
my message in a bottle

So true - we really have no idea what might become of each of our poems. They take a life of their own.
