Disconnected

I was disconnected
deleted
for that something
I had said
but I wanted to know
what was in
his heart and head
I had gifted him my thoughts
where they
could easily be read
until I am alive there
I might as well be dead
though we are still
connected in many
other ways
and I want to have him
fill my heart and days
a woman loves a man
in so very many ways
but what he holds
in his heart
is the reason
that she stays
