Thanks, Line, but I really do enjoy my fresh tulips. If they would only let me have them for a day or two, then they could have them...but whacking off bulbs??? Hard to forgive!

I had to quit gardening a few years ago because deer and woodchucks were eating my hard work. Woodchucks I don't pity when I see one dead in the road, but deer are my favorite wild animal and it breaks my heart to see them struck down by cars and trucks on state highways. / Maurice

Maurice, I know how you feel. I finally gave up. Every year I would be so excited to see my bulbs coming through the ground and, then, they never made it to bloom! It was heartbreaking, but I tried to realize the deer need to eat, too.

Thanks, Darlene. I've had years when the deer nearly wiped out my entire flower garden. It's frustrating, but, of course, I love the deer in my backyard, too.
