Diminished Willpower
This has to be one of the most common queries:
Why does food that tastes good have too many calories?
Just about anything that has a pleasant taste
adds additional centimeters to my waist.
No matter what the time of the hour,
I become a victim of diminished willpower.
Before I know it, I am opening my refrigerator.
I look for any kind of hunger eliminator.
Have you ever seen them throw trash into an incinerator?
I consume many more calories than I can burn.
This appears to be a lesson I am too incorrigible to learn.
Inspired by another members poem.
