Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

Dilemma

i have a bubble of nothingness
growing relentlessly inside
taking up more and more room
till i just pray it will explode

this nothingness might
have a name or it might not
i don't want to talk about it
and it might go away
to just expand into oblivion

on one other hand
what i want is the warmth of peace
the kind that infuses and
isn't ruled by nothingness and chaos

yet i may as well be in the furthest galaxy
dodging demons i can't fight off
fleeing demons that aren't my own
demons he can't or won't let go

A contrary view ~ Nothingness as in no-thing in the void is cognised by awareness but darkened by identity. If thoughts rest, identity recedes, regrets and fears vaporise. What remains is presence eternal, one with oneness, pristine and complete, in perfect, brilliant bliss energised stillness.
