Dig

The virus be it chicken or pig Do we not our own graves dig Mess about with natures course All we do is make things worse Germs and strains mutate Just what will be our fate What are the scientists saying When will man stop playing Was not so long ago The air was pure as snow It is time to act not grieve And clean the air we breath

A great environmental message emerges from this well-composed poem, Daniel. Like you, I fear for the future of our planet. Environmental neglect carries a huge pricetag. Our futures are at stake! Great work, my friend. Love, Carolyn

This is very good insite; too true. I would watch the punctuation if you wish to enter it in a contest and check that the syllables are even in each line.
