Difficulties
It is hard to deny what your heart wants,
Especially when your spirit is at war within you.
It is difficult to squash the pain
When what you desire is out of reach
Drowning in a sea of grief and longing deep and true
The words are there crying out to be heard
Like crystal tears shattering silently on the ground
Only to be crushed by those who cannot
Or will not see them
Scattered like diamond dust
So beautiful to behold
Yet cause so much pain when
Brought back together
