Different Shades of Green
Your emerald eyes,
mint breath,
and the spring dress
that you wore on our first
date, vividly flash in my memories,
like a tape recorder that can't be stopped.
I still crave your seductive nature,
as deep and beautiful as a tropical rain
forest, or a school of butterfly fish
dancing around the Caribbean green
seaweed.
You are worth more than a thousand jades
in my life.....
