Different Road

When my pride is set aside
And my delusions disappear
I’ll travel a different road
Back to my quiet, lovely abode
To find within my private library
The book that is called good
I’ll take it to my lonely room
Hoping to find instructions
On how to live a better way
That will brighten my shady day
