childhood and old age, in many ways are alike, but with an antithetical difference. when with time, as children grow steadier in steps and clearer in speech, the old become, staggering in steps and faltering in speech!

Interesting words my friend... Age i just a number, and we should grow with grace.. Isnt it ironic that when we are young we want to grow older and when we are older we want be younger... Best of luck in the contest..

You echoed thoughts I have sat with many times. What you beautifully stated factually (well written in talented brevity lines), is truly a melancholy sadness feel that I, personally, try to dwell in, accepting it is as it is for reasons only HE knows. Good to read you, always ... CayCay

Great comparison, Valsa. The Bible says once a man and twice a child which is true mostly. Some people don't go back childlike for one reason or another. I enjoyed reading this one. Sara K
