Didn'T Expect That

We come into this world not knowing what to expect We are held, loved, nourished, grow, learn We get hurt Didn't expect that Each day is a new chance to be held, loved, nourished, grow, learn We get hurt Didn't expect that Enough already I expect more Forget about my rising barriers I got hurt Didn't expect that Tired of thinking I can be held, loved nourished, grow, learn I got hurt I don't care about the new day Why me Why not Let down the barriers forget yesterday and love today It worked Didn't expect that

Thank you for the kind words. I used to write a lot. Seemed like too many thingsgot in the way for so many years. Now I find it comforting to begin again.
