Did you drink the bleach

Dear Evangelicals, Did you drink the Kool aid, or perhaps it was the bleach? Now wanting to reelect a President who should have been impeached! What about those values that Christ did teach? May be you no longer care about the Capitol police.. This monied man, an immoral leader whose prompted up by a massive maga meter.. Donald Trump is skilled at marketing his brand and spreading his divisiveness where ever he can.. Christ over threw the money tables when in the temple he went. Donald Trump is not your savior. He's no Clark Kent!

I'm hesitant to comment here. I believe, like Sara K, that the Dems are doing everything they can to prevent Trump from returning to the presidency. That's dangerous enough...but they're undermining democracy at every turn asserting more and more control and propagandizing the citizenry. Hi Sara, I respect other poets point of view here, as we still live in a democracy for now any way. What about the intimidation and attack of Nancy Pelosi's husband and recent swatting of politicians? Just last night Roger Stone just suggested killing to Democrat congressmen. If that's not weaponizing those that don't agree with your political views?

Well, Donald Trump did not say that people should drink bleach. He said, since bleach kills the virus is there some way it can be used to kill it in people. He was asking a question not stating a fact. He opens his mouth, inserts his foot so many times which is not a good thing. Definitely the democrats are doing everything they can to keep him from going back in as president. Thanks for sharing your point of view with us in the poem and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Hi Sara, You are right. Donald Trump actually suggests injecting bleach which doesn't sound a whole lot safer to me. LOL Politics are incredibly ugly these days and we are living in very challenging times supporting 2 other democracies who were aggressed on by others. God Bless and thanks for your visit also.

well said, nancy! it boggles the mind how so many people are following a leader who is going to end democracy in this country. i read article after article and still cannot understand it...

Hi Ilene, There are a couple good books out there which explain the Evangelical Christians belief that he is a "strong leader" and will fix all our issues. Great to hear from you and stay active locally. We need more people who can see the bigger picture, not just their wallets.
