Did We Forget
A lovely name and beautiful face,
Someone given so much love and grace.
With such a high status, he started to see life in another way.
The darkness lingered onto his figure and fed him a new taste,
A taste of power, greed and disgrace.
It seems like he forgot his place,
I Am cannot control the creation but show them the life that was made.
There were no soldiers nor a threat to create.
Until there was a man with a beautiful face.
He envied the bright sun, wanted to take over
Control everyone in sight.
He convinced some and betrayed the light that gave them space.
That is the man to blame, he loves to be forgotten
Hidden in the darkness.
The one with no morals, no love, no place.
We can’t forget the man that created sickness and hate.
The one that created ying yang, good vs. evil, time and space.
We now question why were alive,
Why beings than nothing at all?
We forgot that life is to enjoy the sweet fruit and lend a helping hand.
To be united, surrender to love and enjoy this beautiful land.
I have to close my eyes, live in a world that won’t be here in time.
How will life be when I'm wrinkled and have a timid sight?
Where is the hope that God said to recognize?
Is that where my strength comes from?
To be blinded by faith and know that God is by my side?
Where else do I go?
When this story shows itself in places I know.
We tend to forget his name,
The one that caused this madness,
That made us question why we were here in the first place.
