Diaphanous Dreams

diaphanous dreams call me tonight,

summon all the Angels to guide me...

can we find the voices of children
crying in the night?

in far away lands
....and here at home

slow the rivers of tears
for just one night!

whisper in ears of many leaders-
are they listening?

we must try tonight!
summon all the Angels to guide me...

encourage the wisdom of all
living spirits to join us!

whisper in our ears!
we are listening!

send our peace to every corner
of every hate!

summon all the Angels to guide us!
fly with us in our dreams tonight!

hold our hearts in Your peace!
are you listening?

carry our peace to every corner
of every hurt!

on God's Wings we fly!
comfort our children!

we must try tonight!
              must try      tonight
