Diablo

Diabolical in determination and deed,
Angel with an angle, 
his weapon, a bevel-blade tongue

wise and powerful, but 
with a major psychosis-
he desired the worship of his Creator.

Diablo, evil embodied, the devil
Delusion?  Illusion?  I can be like God
His resolution: raised leverage
one-third of the angels rushed to his side
fiendish fragment  of his imagination
He faltered, he failed; he fell.

Derelict cast from heaven
His die is cast; He will in due time receive
his just due, a sinkhole, the pit of hell

Death will die but he will not.
