The world globes itself in a drop of dew.
~ By Ralph Waldo Emerson
***********************
Pure dazzling spindly dawn prayers,
Callow leaves shedding dews,
The glow of the sun touched her tears,
Sunrays caressed the tangled pears,
With sparkling carpet of dew views,
Cast on spider web hues.
Dewdrops weaved as crowns from heaven,
Gleam as glimpse of the dream,
Show of sleek steam stems the garden,
Till they pinch the bloom of lemon,
Dawn dewdrops have a sturdy seem,
without tricks or prime scheme.
Tears are wincing as we sit here,
We pray and wish on sky,
Count blissful glee touching dew tear,
Rain bears the love of those we cheer,
Deft dewdrops are prized, so to say,
From soul, tears fall today.
In full bloom, rainclouds form, and burst
God's fey stir each dripping,
rain feeds life buds leaf and eas' thirst,
On the nigh roar, sense feeling first,
Let dewdrops soothe your heart aching,
Stream reaches our meaning.
