Devilish Creature

Your love was not a flower That settled on my heart Your love had the power To rip my soul apart You tore into my life Baring teeth and slashing claws Your words cut like a knife Deep into my hallowed halls Searing into my brain You screamed you love me Those words drove me insane And cut my chains and set me free Your crushing grip upon my heart Your mesmeric glaring stare Now is the time to start Our bloody violent love affair Into eternity our blood will flow Shattering screams amidst the stars While cuts and bites and bruises show My love for you will leave its scar These blinding thoughts of you Crippling my strong resolve My fury cutting through This bloodied haze called love Love me now and evermore Beautiful and devilish creature You have cut me to the core Beautiful and devilish creature
