Deviants and Divine
Men, collectively called Homo-sapiens,
Differ in breath and bone, thought and action.
No one wears another’s face or physiognomy
Nor share cognitive or mental faculties in equal faction.
Cast in different molds, they stay different-
Some, mild and meek, to common rules lenient
Some, rebellious, questioning everything.
Can’t brand them notorious or wayward, but deviant.
Some seek the trodden path with lesser risk.
Others want to explore and stay adventurous.
Often unbound by rules and regulations,
Some tend to act unpredictably treacherous .
Contention and conformity walk side by side.
At times taking prominence one on the other
Contentious people are often instigators,
Who chain their glories to trifles that smother.
Deviants wish to engage in arguments that bite
Twist truth and justify wrong
Wear a disguise of virtue, but marred inside
Bind others with insistence, headstrong.
Some, rich in qualities of the head and heart-
People full of the milk of human kindness.
Call them the Divine who make the world richer.
They earn respect with honesty and uprightness.
People of clear thought and unclouded vision,
With actions aligned to conscience and words, sincere.
They withhold judgement until the truth is learned.
To integrity, as the guiding principle, they adhere.
Difference shouldn't be seen as man’s critical fracture
Those branded deviant may hold qualities benign,
From hideout, their niceties may come to fore one day.
So, be generous in your treatment of the Deviant and the Divine.
