Determination

Hanging on
A thin bending stem
A little bumblebee
Refuses to fall.

Wind blows stronger,
Even tighter he clings,
Determined not to lose.

Tenacity is rewarded
As he buries his head
Within the crimson heart
Of a delicate rose
And extracts
The sweetest
Richest, golden nectar.

Like this one. The bee persists, clings on. And from the crimson heart wins a sweet meal and in return spreads the pollen. A game of give and take. Tony
