Destiny

Destiny

Our eyes met
we were caught in each others gaze
there was never a word spoken
smiles we shared for days
the only language we spoke
were that of smiles and blushes.....

Then before a single word was said
we knew a different path lay ahead
torn apart we were
by fate, as anger grasped her
we are separate now
but our hearts stand as one
yearning to see each other
before each day is done.
