Destination Forever

Navigating is difficult
So much harder than I imagined
Harder even, to fathom
The everlasting journey
Roads, ever winding
The fog, ever blinding
Yet and still- travel I
On your interstate
Of which I pray will break my curse
Of abandonment, I know you will
There’s faith in us, in you I trust
Thought we may suffer pit stops
This expedition continues
Learning so much with each progression
Through tough love lessons
Enduring lies and confessions
Still- we live on
Together
We’re going
Where exactly- I don’t know
I just know,
That we are destined for forever
