Despite It All, They Hope

Where exists the heart of discontent
Lives one, not in accord, nor harmony
For there, no life can circumvent
The pain of each day’s insanity
But, yet, to dream, to one day see
Perhaps, to feel, to experience hope
Allows that one, though there they be
Chance of tomorrow, while today they cope

I have learned over the course of my life Michael that hope is all we truly have at times - I remember once setting in a SHU hoping that I could die - Instead I turned to God and for the first time in my life I started to live - You know I could write a free verse out of that thought - Thank you for the inspiration my friend - God Bless
