Desperation

Alas, the sweet perfume lingers in the night.. She stood motionless, but ready to move.. Gazing upon my efforts to win her sweet love, she turned and left, with no intention to return. She stood motionless, but ready to move, she showed me that her feelings could change. It is quite disheartening, knowing these facts. but I will still continue or die trying. Gazing upon my efforts to win her sweet love, I thought, if just for a moment, a chance. For naught, she seemed a distance away, If only I could penetrate her heart. She turned and left, with no intention to return, leaving me destitute, but still replete of love. I will find her and win her heart one day as I will still continue or die trying.
