I’d rather not rhyme
perhaps you’ve noticed
i mean, it happens sometimes
but it's something I’m not focused on.
in my opinion
rhyme is corrosive,
distracting, unattractive
and absolutely the grossest
Sure, Shakespeare may have rhymed
but are we sure he wasn’t AI?
I wasn’t at the globe
I wasn’t with him at home.
Were his royal plots fake news?
Maybe his ladies weren’t all shrews,
- did Trinculo actually lick a shoe?
I don’t know, but let’s not crown rhyme
in all our designs, as desirable all the time.
