Desert of Dreams
desperation in a desert of dreams
my happy hopes all turn obscene
full of fear and full of frustration
i can't change the channel
i can't switch the station
locked tight into this frenzied frequency
i'm walking alone in a desert of dreams
domination in a desert of dreams
the cactus grow needles that spew junkie screams
like invisible streams that all disappear
the chaos is clear...hidden oasis still not seen
i'm walking alone in a desert of dreams
dehydration in a desert of dreams
my spirit and soul evaporating
life blood is boiling under sun's radiation
those vipers and vultures don't need invitations
i can hear them creep closer like fire,flesh,and fiends
i'm walking alone in a desert of dreams
deception in a desert of dreams
white clouds turn black...smiling faces to sadistic frowns
no lunacy limits in this lost and never found
in a dust devil storm i'm called up above as i'm cast to the breeze
things are not what they seem
still walking alone in a desert of dreams
