Descent of the Goddess

Dangerous journey, this,
    to enter and emerge,
    identical but not the same.
Void or Chaos, whatsis name,
    fromlessness is what
draws us out from safe places.

"what are you going to do with all that darkness? Find someplace to make it shine."

I like these shorter poems. So much said with few words. If only I had that talent. In a way, even those that come from fromlessness, can turn nothingness into some glistening creation. T.S. Eliot said something like this, I think, "only those who risk going too far, will find out how far one can go". xx

Oh, don't you love it when a poem draws out a concept you didn't even know you had! Thank you so much for your comment. Elizabeth McCann

I love the feel of it, too. Like swimming in the warm lake of my remembered childhood.

Seems you’re going places, in a journey without movement, within. Enjoyed the read of your oneness experience and descent of grace
