Line of inquiry:
“on an as is where is basis we choose
descent of consciousness into the gross
then we rise again following heart’s muse
higher than where stood, bearing love’s cross”

and in my meditation I am sinking down
the descent is gradual for it takes time
to acquire this skill of awareness
and I am in the realm where I am but a seed
within my mother's womb
there is nothingness
but, I am growing and soon I can move arms and legs
slowly a brain is complete, a heart is developed
facial features have formed, perhaps I even cry
I am told that I moved a lot
it is warm and cozy and I am in no rush to leave
but mother and doctor have another agenda
so, I am born, screaming
and my journey begins . . .
it was a snowy day, perhaps explaining my love
for snowflakes
I am conscious of the need for food and warmth
for my mother's voice and arms
but not much else
soul and spirit is within me but laying dormant
as I grow I am ascending in all the different realms
of my body, aparently I smile a lot
soon I become aware, cognitive, willful
the ascent is faster now, soon I am soaring
aware of my body, soul, and my wandering free spirit
of self, of regret, of shame, of want
serenity, pleasure, and right and wrong
my personality finds a path
and I am ascending, surging
my subconscious and conscious are intune
yet, now I can tap into my superconsciousness
my cosmic self and my spiritual self
I have ascending into the higher realm's of me
understanding the realms of hell and heaven
wishing to bask in the light of God
the Christian bible tells us that our beloved cannot reach out
to us, I disagree, I feel mother's touch, hear dad's voice
if God can hold my hand then so can my loved ones
I acknowlege the belief of immortality and rebirth
and this is the essence of my descent and ascent
in meditation
