Descend On Us Oh Wonderful Rain

Descend on us oh wonderful rain
Shower us with your ebullient drops
Bath our lands and little crops
Take away the gloom on the face of flowers
Oh rain energetically fall!
So harvest may later fill our trucks!
Let the dormancy of the lanes be invaded by your noise
So trees may grow tall
As much as the peasants had toiled
Satiate the thirst of our dry lands
Flush away the hunger that destroy the farms
Make endowed our liquidating dams!
Oh rain do energetically fall
And bath our lands and little crops!

What a beautiful testimony to the life giving power of rain. May this be answered with a deluge from above.

thanks so much Eileen, a deluge that cleanse the soil of it's dormancy is a great thing to ask for. I apologise for the late reply, I hope all is well with you. best wishes
