Depth

What makes the essences of me
Could it be the cold-bloodiness
Down on the inside of me
What is it that makes you love me
It must be the depth of my intimacy
Yet you thought
You would never be
Captivated by me, but you must
Open your eyes to see
That the depth of a woman
Is needing and being with me

Golding's anti-heroes left me cheerless. Boy, can I relate to that! Fizzing in my head also had me smiling. This one was so much fun to read!
