Depression hits

Depression hits in many different ways Some struggle to get up most days Happy people see the sun, feel it's rays Look at us and think it's just a phase I know for me, I feel stuck in a maze A crazy train, drugged up haze From my dark tunnell, I can see a light It lures me closer to the end of my fight My heart skips a beat at the beautiful sight I am blessed and protected now Knowing this is getting me through somehow The strength I feel is actually Real It grows inside, returning how I really feel Minutes to hours, day by day Depression may never fully go away I will fight to keep it at bay Many signs pop in to say The Universe is within Me as is the suns rays
